Silence filled the room. You scratched the back of your neck awkwardly. Altair spoke in French again. You sighed.

"If that session of...skills wasn't awkward enough for you...you should've waited for later. I said I would teach you later." You mumbled, looking at Kadar's still figure. The man should be laughing right now, teasing you, but no. He was in a coma for an unknown amount of time. Malik was already gone for Jerusalem before he even woke up.

"If you let me explain," Altair grumbled. You nodded, telling him to continue.

"I am leaving for Jerusalem." He murmured, flattening imaginary creases on his white robes. You nodded slowly.

"I see." You muttered, sighing. You would miss him dearly. His ways has grown accustomed to you, so with him not here, it would be boring. And quiet.

"I asked Mentor...Al Mualim...if you would like to come." He said quietly, looking away. You smiled sadly.

"I would love to go, but I have to watch Kadar for Malik." You reminded him.

"Actually, before Malik left a few days ago, I asked if you could come. He said alright, but you had to send a pigeon to the doctor even now and then." He smiled mischievously. You groaned.

"Why can't he do it? He does own a lot of paper and ink jars..." You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose. Altair could only smiled with amusement.

"I do not know for sure, but this is Malik. He could own hundred of paper and ink, but he wouldn't bother writing." He tutted. You shook your head.

"True." You sighed. "Why do you want me to go with you? Would you miss me so much?" You giggled. You straightened out a cuff on Kadar's sleeve, expecting him to wake up. No.

He coughed awkwardly. He pulled his hood down lower, as if he would like to cover his face. You placed your hands on your waist.

"Well?" You questioned, pointing at him. You walked slowly near him and poked his back. He flinched in surprise. Not a common reaction from a former Master Assassin.

"Yes. I would." He sighed in desperation. You grinned, enjoying his uncomfortableness. You cherished it, in fact.

"Would what? Miss me? I don't understand..." You taunted, skipping around his frozen body. It's a funny situation. A man in a coma, soundly sleeping a few feet away, while a strange duo chatting about missing someone.

"I am...not very familiar expressing feelings." He muttered, sighing. You smirked. "I've noticed."

He shot you a glare; barely what he used to do. His glares didn't affect you anymore.

"Um. How do you say this... I would miss you...a lot..." He whispered shyly. You blushed them grinned.

"Aww..." You smiled, facing him. He looked up, confused.

"What do you mean, 'aww'?" He asked, bewildered. You laughed.

"I just think how it's so cute that you can't express something so easy! Plus, you're so adorable when you're acting shy!" You exclaimed. He sighed and turned away.

"I'm sorry... I don't even think I apologize to many people. And I am not shy. I am awesome." He murmured, glancing at Kadar. You frowned.

"You're just to damn proud. And you do apologize correctly, but I noticed you only apologize to me." You said, glancing around the room. For a doctor's room, it was fancy.

He harrumphed, folding his arms. You grinned.

"Am I...special?" You teased, playfully punching his arm. He didn't move.

"...go...pack for our mission." He grunted and walked out. He cautiously glanced at Kadar and left. You sighed in defeat, too lazy to argue and murmured goodbye to Kadar and went to get ready for tonight's journey.

Humming, you filled your water skin from the kitchen. You were too lazy to get it at the 'proper' place. You closed it tightly, making sure no air was left to make it last as long as it can. You quietly exited the kitchen, looking out of the window. It was dark.

"Maybe I'll wait in Altair's room..." You murmured, not wanting to wake up any Brothers. You walked around the fortress, locating his room. You walked in, feeling that you have no need to knock anymore.

The man was sitting at his desk again, staring at a book laid out in from of him. Judging on the moving eyes, he was just skimming the pages. You coughed awkwardly.

"Urhm, Altaïr. I believe it is night time." You said, leaning your body of the peach walls. He slammed the book closed, scaring you. He clapped his hands together and rubbed them.

"Hm, I was waiting." He muttered, pointing at the small pack he was carrying. Compared to yours, his was slightly smaller.

"Abbas got us two horses." You said, looking at him. He nodded stiffly.

"I wonder if he poisoned my horse." He mumbled, tying his pack securely. You groaned softly.

"Don't worry about that. I hate him, but I still trust him." You mumbled, pulling him from his room. He quietly shut his door and followed you in silence.

A few seconds later, you broke it.

"I need to see Malik and Kadar's room first. I forgot my dagger." You blurted out. Altair glanced at you under the hood.

"We will be late, but go ahead. I will be at the stables, preparing your horse. Go quickly." He said, walking past you. You nodded, dashing off to their room. Their room was right next to Altair's.

You opened their door, immediately walking to their shared desk. Malik mostly used it, but Kadar used it occasionally. You found what you were looking for; your dagger that Malik was supposed to repair. You examined it, noticing that it wasn't fixed yet.

As you were examining it, you noticed a small, blue book. You curiously picked it up, reading the cover.

"Kadar's...journal?" You mused, touching the Arabic writing. He had a legible hand writing, so you read it easily.

"What's in here?" You said out loud, opening the first page. You slapped your arm.

'Whoah. Stop. This isn't yours.' You scolded yourself. But the more you scolded yourself, the more you wanted to read.

"What do I have to lose?" You exclaimed, opening it.

'July 14, 1191

Malik has screamed at me today. All I did was fix his dagger!

Well.

If you call dropping it from the highest tower in Masayf 'fix'.

Yes.

His face was worth every punishment I'll ever receive.

I will now face my well-worth punishment.

Haha...'

You snorted. Of course he would do that. Malik's blade was his prized possession. Other than Kadar, that is.

You shook your head, so tempted to continue reading, but it wouldn't be right. You glanced around, as if someone was watching you. You knew Altaïr was probably impatient now, so you took his personal journal and dashed out of the room, running to rejoin your partner, clutching the blue book tightly.
Lol. How long has it been for Altaïr?! A while. Anywho. I tried. I really did!

DID YOU GUYS FORGET ABOUT KADAR'S LADY FRIEND?!

Sorry. I have nothing to say.
