You raked your slender fingers in your hair, undoing knots and split ends. You growled at a stubborn knot.
"Get...off!" You yanked the last knot, ripping it off. You stared at the frizzy ball of hair on your palm.
"Are you kidding me?!" You groaned. Whatever. You tossed the hair ball on the ground, looking at your mirror. You smoothed out little wrinkle lines.
Oh, Kadar did bring your dress. Just...modified.
You specifically wanted a (y/f/c) colored dress, even though you hated them. Kadar knew you hated them with a passion, so he changed it. Everything.
Now, it was tight breeches, a white and red blouse sort of thing. It still had the trademark assassin hood, but the right corner of the blouse had a small assassin insignia.
You did like it better; still feminine, but elegant and classy. The boots was a plus.
You froze. "That means...Kadar paid for this stuff..." You wanted to smack that Al-Sayf. He didn't have to pay for it! You were, however, truly grateful. You sighed. You couldn't exactly yell at him for buying it, but thanking him for it. Really confusing.
You decided to tell him later. You carefully strapped your hidden blade on and looked at your reflection once more.
'Good.' You thought.
You headed off toward the 'end of Masayf' like Abbas said. You shook your head. Obviously it wasn't going to be Malik.
He'd say, "It is near the oak tree, near the river bend and 25 steps forward, then turn right..."
You giggled. You were positive Malik would say that. You walked near the river bend, and noticed that you were at the end of Masayf. You looked around for...well...who ever was here as your date.
You sat down and sighed. If he wasn't coming-
"(Y/n)! I'm sorry I was late..." A voice scared you. Your head shot up and stared at the figure. Assassin robes...Altaïr. His hands were behind his back.
"Altair? I should've guessed." You chuckled. He grinned. He walked over to you and pulled out flowers. You gasped.
"Altair! They're beautiful!" You touched each flower. Each was different and you didn't recognize them.
He smiled. "This one is a hibiscus...that one is a lily...and this one is a ranunculus." He told you. You stared at him.
"How in sheep's name do you know that?" You asked, bewildered. He snickered.
"I may be an assassin, (y/n), but I do know things other than assassinating." He mused.
You grinned. "True. What do they mean?"
He thought for a second. "Uh, hibiscus means delicate beauty...ranunculus means you have a radiant personality, and I forgot what lily means." He said, looking away.
"D'aww! I think you're beautiful as well!" You gushed.
"Wait, you think I'm beautiful? Shouldn't you say handsome, or dashing, or dropped dead gorgeous?!" He asked, clearly offend. His pride went down, probably.
You laughed. "No! Beautiful can be for a man as well, but just used differently." You explained. He nodded, finally understanding.
"Well, we have much to do in so little time. Shall we?" He asked, grabbing your wrist.
"Where are we going?" You asked, following him.
"We are going to...um." He said. You pulled him to a stop. Your rested your hands on your hips.
"Altair, Kadar did not just waste his money just so I find out you can't figure out where we are going." You said sassily. He looked down in shame. Clearly, you did not expect the reaction.
"I'm sorry. I just don't know what you like...and I...sorry." He muttered, not looking at you. You smiled softly in amusement.
"Altair...I'm an assassin. Just like you. We aren't that different. What do you like to do for fun?" You asked. He stared at you blankly.
"What is this 'fun' you speak of?" He asked, confused. You gasped.
"Don't you know what fun is?!"
"No."
"Really?"
"Yes. Teach me." He said. You laughed.
"I can't teach you 'fun'. You just feel it. Like when I talk to Kadar and he makes me laugh. That is fun." You explained. "What is fun for you?"
He thought about it for a moment.
"Well?" You said hopefully.
"I have fun being with you." He finally said. You doubled over in pure laughter.
"Altair! That's silly! And dumb. Why would you think that? It's pretty childish..." You choked out, tears in your eyes.
He frowned and looked away. "But it's true. I really do have fun being with you..." He mumbled. "...do you hate me that much...?" He said it very quietly, so you couldn't hear.
"Wait...you were serious?" You gasped. He nodded, but didn't look at you.
"Sorry." You said awkwardly, rubbing your head. It was silent.
"Do you want to go somewhere?" He said finally. You nodded.
"Where shall I put the flowers?" You asked.
"Stomp them on the ground." He muttered. You stared straight at his cover face.
"Altair...are you serious?" You asked, concerned.
He nodded and grabbed them. He cut them in the middle with his hidden blade and threw them on the ground.
"Ok. Let's go..." He muttered. You stared at the sad, sad flowers and followed him. He had quite the temper today.
You both walked in the market, doing what you loved the most; looking at the things you couldn't buy.
Altair and you glanced around, occasionally stopping to look at items. A necklace shined brightly and caught your eye. You walked over to it.
"Wow.." You whispered, gazing at the reflective surface.
"How much?" You asked the merchant...who apparently was an assassin.
"Handcrafted by my father. It's 3,000-" you stopped him and grunted.
"Never mind then." You sighed, staring at it and touching your empty money pouch. It was a sparkling shade of pure silver. Not surprisingly, it was the logo of all logos.
"It's pretty." Altair said, resting his hands on your shoulders. You nodded.
"It is." You sighed.
"Not as pretty as you." He said. You blushed.
"Well, it's not very pretty anymore, is it...since you compared it to me..." You glanced at it again.
He shook his head.
"From 1 through 10, the necklace is a 10. You, on the other hand, is a 100." He smiled. You giggled and smacked his arm.
"Stop it you!" You laughed. You remembered the flowers and wondered what the lily meant...too bad it's dead now. You walked away, leaving Altaïr at the necklace.
"It's too beautiful to pass up..." He muttered, glancing at the money in this hands.
"Ah...worth it..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sighed happily. Other than that awkward conversation about flowers, today was great. You rested your head on Altair's chest, looking at the night sky. It was a habit now, star gazing.
"That one is Altaïr." You said, pointing at a constellation. He looked at it and grinned.
"Where's (y/n)?" He asked. You laughed.
"There's no such thing." You sighed. He shook his head.
"Let's find one..." He wandered. His looked around the constellation and pointed at one.
"There! That one is now called (y/n). It very bright." He said. You looked at the sky.
"Altair, those are just random stars." You snickered.
"Not to me. You're everywhere. You're everything." He said. You smiled and nuzzled him. He stiffened.
"I have a gift for you..." He mumbled, reaching behind his back. You looked up at him in curiosity.
"What is it?" You looked at his closed palm.
"It's-"
"(Y/n) and Altaïr! Master is looking for you!" Kadar popped out behind a bush. You screamed and Altaïr groaned.
"Really, Kadar?! Really?!" He yelled.
Kadar grinned. "Yes, really. And he really is looking for you!" He ran away in laughter.
You rolled of Altaïr. "Ugh. Let's go. Star gazing is over now."
Altair sighed in annoyance. "Cockblocker..."
Your eyebrows rose and you laughed. You tried to pull Altaïr up, but he didn't get up.
"C'mon Altaïr!" You grunted. He shook his head and pouted. Pouted. Yes. He actually pouted.
"No."
"Yes."
"No!"
You groaned. "I'll do whatever you want."
His right eyebrow rose. "Anything...?"
Your eyes widened. "Anything, but that!"
He chuckled. "I know...how about...you kiss me." He smirked.
You groaned and leaned in...
...and kissed his cheek...
"See you later, Novice!" You laughed hysterically, running to Al Mualim's chamber.
"You tease! I'll get you back! Even if it's the last thing I do, (y/n)!"
Connor X Reader - Part One
Part One: We Meet
~
You didn't know what to say. What could you say? Here you were, next to this tall, dark skinned, brown eyed, muscular, attractive looking man, who had just asked you a question. One that had already slipped your mind. What was that question again? How could you forget? Now, the more you thought about it, the less you could remember it. What on earth was the matter with you? Did you drink too much ale? No... that couldn't be it. This was your first glass.
The male next to you cleared his throat and rose his eyebrow, very patiently awaiting your answer. Not remembering what he'd said, you gave an awkward smile and rose yo
Altair x reader: Just tell her (Part Two)
You awoke the next morning, feeling well rested and energetic to start a new day. After dressing in your assassins robes, you headed out of the room. You found Altair sitting talking with Malik. They were both eating bowls of berries, well Altair was more picking each berry up, squeezing its juices out, then putting it back. Maybe that was a new way to manage his anger, you thought smugly. They both fell silent as you entered the room. "Morning you two."
"Morning (Y/N), I trust you slept well?" Malik said.
"Yes thanks Malik. Morning Altair." Altair just nodded at you. "Well someone's talkative." Yo
Altair X Reader - Part One
Part One: No Longer Friends
~
You and Altair were close friends when you were younger, the closest anyone had seen. But how close you two were seem to fade when the one Assassin killed himself before Altair when he was eleven. Then, when Altair was noticed by Al Mualim after he defended the Creed, was your friendship completely shattered. He pushed you away, and did so coldly. He now thought he was top dog because of him being recognized, even when you and a few others were just as good as him. There was no more friendliness between you two, but you still did miss the days of joking and making the seemingly emotionless Assassin smile. And t
