With You (Altair x Reader) Part 5Without thinking, you dove right into the water, cussing in a colorful language. You swam around, trying to find his body. You noticed a lot of white near the bottom, so you decended quickly. You found him, so you grabbed his waist and tried pulling him up. He was a little too heavy for you to carry, and you were running out of air! You grabbed him once more and pulled him up as hard as you possibly could.
Gasping for air, you set him down on the small shore of the river. You scooted near him to check his pulse, only to find nothing.
"Altair! Wake up!" You panicked. You remembered that Malik told you something about the resuscitation process. You nagged your brain, trying to remember how to do it. You remembered how and began. You started pumping his chest, muttering at him numbers and a series of 'Wake up, you drowner'.
When you still couldn't feel a pulse, you groaned. The last thing with this resuscitation thing, is to breath for him. How do you do that?
Put your mouth
Altair's Way of Romance (Altair x reader) Part 8Groggily opening your eyes, you scanned the room you were in with a blurred vision. You groaned at the piercing feeling you had on your throbbing head. Glancing around the now clear room, you realized you were in Malik and Kadar's room. You hastily tried getting up, but groaning at the spinning room.
"Wouldn't try that, if I were you." Malik said, scaring the day lights out of you. You carefully turned your head, finding him near his desk and toying with his hidden blade.
"What....what happened?" You asked, touching your bandaged head. It was pretty nicely done...none other than Malik's precise hands.
"You passed out. You hit your head pretty hard, that's why you have bandages...now stop touching them." He answered sternly. You quickly lowered your hands, not wanting to anger him.
"Altair brought you here-" He started, but you cut him off.
"He was here?!" You gasped.
"Who else brought you here?" He scoffed. You lowered your head in embarrassment.
My Turn To Be The Hero (Connor x Reader) Part 12"You really shouldn't go outside with Edward."
"Just look at him."
You turned your head to turn to said Assassin...
Currently, he was beating up a plank of wood with his fists. Your brow quirked.
"Why is he doing that?" You asked Achilles. He muttered.
"Still haven't found that blasted Lee. He's taking out his 'failure' on that plank." He explained. You sighed. Poor plank.
"Connor!" You shouted, catching his attention. He stopped punching and looked at you.
"Yes?" He asked, massaging his knuckles.
"We should draw Lee on the board." You replied, jogging over. He perked up.
"And Edward on the other side!" He smiled. Your brow twitched.
"Edward? The fisher?" You asked. Edward? Really...? You knew he hated him, sure, but you were sure the two of you weren't to slay innocents...
"Yes. Please. Can you paint?" He asked, grabbing your hands and inspecting them. You chuckled.
"Yes. I can paint." You smiled. His face brightened instantly, pulling you to the Homestead. You chuckl
Req. Love Can Last Forever? (Haytham x Reader)"Excuse me. Do you know this man? Or seen him before? He was seen running on rooftops." A redcoat rudely asked, knocking over your bag of food. You glared, but answered. Not in a nice way, either.
"No! I've never seen this man in my entire life!" You hissed, bending down to retrieve your things. You grumbled in annoyance as you stared at his shoes. You stood up again, only to meet his ridiculous face.
"Alright lady. Sorry to bother you." He huffed, turned around swiftly and walking away, asking another person. You rolled your eyes. They were easy to annoy. So were you...
"Why would you get in trouble for running on rooftops? I wouldn't mess with them. They have to pretty brave and string to get up there." You muttered, walking along the path to your small home.
To give it some detail, you lived in Boston, near the countywide of the area. It didn't have many stores for clothing, so you had to travel all the way to central Boston to get some cloth and supplies. You had a smal
It's a Date! (Desmond x Reader) Modern AUIt sucked being alone. Seriously. He knew very well.
"Dude, you need to get a girlfriend." His cousin complained, walking into his room and eyeing him tiredly.
"Shut the hell up Ezio." Desmond huffed, snapping his laptop shut. He grabbed it's case and carefully sliding the gray electronic object into the comfortable confinements. Ezio just rolled his eyes.
"No, really. All you do is mope around, sleep, eat, and watch YouTube videos. And occasionally join us for a run." Ezio sighed, walking out. His Converse squeaked against the tiled floors.
Desmond growled. "It's my house Ezio! Take your shoes off!"
He could hear grunts and muttered replies and the sound of shoes hitting the ground. His cousin had too many shoes... Desmond sighed.
Though Ezio's complaints were annoying, they were true.
He probably did need a girlfriend.
His older brother, Altair, was in an on-and-off relationship with this chick named Maria. She's a cool lady, a bit bossy, but his older brother liked her a
Req. Lifetime to Change (Connor x Blind!Reader)Living with your older brother was hard. It really was. You had to depend on him for everything. Finding clothes, cooking, finding your room.
You were ashamed. Multiple times you heard his spouse complaining on why you were living in their house.
It wasn't your fault.
Wasn't your fault that you were blind...
You weren't born blind, no. As you grew up, you began to notice how your vision became blurry.
Frightened, you informed your parents and they had purchased some 'focals for you.
Courtesy from Ben Franklin.
Years passed as your vision grew fogger and fogger.
Eventually, you became blind.
"She has cataracts." The doctor said.
You cursed your inability.
Today, your brother was nice enough to raise his dog to help you around New York. You had a cane of course, but the dog was much more fun to use than your cane.
"Let's go girl." You called out, patting your legs. You listened for the dog's paws padding against the wooden floors. You had no idea what her name was, but you didn't r
Req. Meet Me in Heaven (Kadar x Reader)You grit your teeth. You could feel the hatred seeping into your bones.
'How dare Abbas lie to me?!' You mentally roared. He told you that there was a assassin marketer waiting for novices like you to purchase a dagger or sword. He even claimed that Al Mualim confirmed it!
For some odd reasons, you believe the blasted man! Due to him, you were racing across Masayf, trying to let loose the pissed off vendor.
To explain how he had gotten mad, you had walked up to his cart and said that you'd like to purchase a blade with a discount since Abbas said that he was a supporter of the assassins.
"You dare play me as a fool, girl?" The vendor cried out. You had protested that, no, he wasn't a fool, but Abbas he said that he was an assassin supporter. He wasn't amused.
"I would never side with a group so ill and violent!" He huffed, delicately grabbing a small dagger.
That was when you decided to grab your things and go. Good thing all you had to carry was your sorry bum.
"I heard th
Blind Leap (Altair x Reader) Part 3It was little before the time to practice. You whistled as you cleaned your hidden blade. Must keep it clean for posterity! No? Anyone? Altaïr? Malik? No? Okay.
"Why are you cleaning that?" Kadar asked. "You'll just get it bloody anyway."
You chuckled and sighed playfully. "Well, when I give it to posterity, I have to keep it clean."
Kadar snickered. "Yeah? Who's the husband?"
You shrugged. "I don't know. I'll see soon."
Kadar laughed. "I mean, is Altaïr the husband and father of this child?"
You choked on your saliva and started hacking and wheezing. Kadar simply howled in laughter and slapped his knee.
After you stopped choking, you glared at him. "Who said it was him?"
"I did. Not just me, but you- Hello, Altaïr." Kadar said, but silently cursed at the bad timing.
Altaïr simply nodded at Kadar and asked if you were heading to practice.
"Yes. I was waiting for you."
Your eyebrows rose as you followed him. You turned around to say bye to Kadar, o
Better Than No One (Altair x Reader) Part 2Whistling softly, you adjusted all of your equipment and straightened your robes. Smiling, you walked out of your room, heading toward to the side of the castle.
"Finally. It's been...15 hours since I last saw him." You mumbled. You grinned sheepishly to yourself, scolding your brain to stop talking about Altaïr.
You eventually made it to the top, looking around for the white eagle. You noticed him kneeling near the edge of the ledge, so you called him out.
"Hello, (y/n)." He murmured quietly, still looking at the sunrise.
You walked over to him, sitting down on his left. You both didn't speak for awhile, enjoying the silence.
After awhile, he sighed and got up. "Shall we?" He nodded at the ledge. You nodded in agreement.
You readied your position, silently asking him to make sure your stance is correct. He tutted.
"You're doing it wrong."
"Well, help me then."
He walked behind you and pressed his chest behind your back. A little too close. You blushed as
Lost Cause - Sherlock x Reader - Chapter FourteenHer hands were shaking as were Sherlock's. He brushed it off and told himself it was due to the cold not from fear. Their fingertips brushed together and Sherlock leaned forward ever so slightly under he was able to wrap his fingers around hers.
He pulled her forced - maybe with a little bit too much force - as she slammed into his chest and he sent himself toppling backwards and landing on the floor at John's feet.
He securely wrapped his hands around her as she lay her head to rest against his chest. Her head rise and fell with the sharp breaths he was taking in. Her breathing running at the same pace as his.
"Thank god you're okay." Sherlock whispered. He stroked her hair and lay a kiss atop of her head.
She clung onto him, her nails digging into the fabric of his jacket.
"Come on let's get her home before someone climbs up here." John pursed, laying a hand on her back and trying to pry them away from each other.
She let go of Sherlock and stood up with a helping hand from John. Her
Lost Cause - Sherlock x Reader - Chapter TenThe apartment was quiet as (Y/N) lay in a ball on the couch sleeping in her tank top and (f/c) lounge pants and her fluffy blanket hugging her body.
It was some time in the morning but Sherlock didn't make a sound as he quietly sat in his usual chair, staring at the wall.
"Do you ever knock?" He said slowly, turning to look at the man standing in his doorway.
"Mrs Hudson let me in, and hello to you too Sherlock." The man smiled at him. He was wearing a fresh pressed suit and tie, a dark tie with small umbrellas printed on it and a black umbrella in his hand.
Sherlock rolled his eyes at the older man. "What do you want Mycroft?"
He sat down in John's usual chair with a heavy sigh. "You said you want my help didn't you? You got John to come over to me because of some mad man after this so called woman named (Y/N), who I assume is the one lying on your couch."
He used his umbrella to point at her sleeping form. Sherlock's eyes followed the general direction watching her body rise and fall
Lost Cause - Sherlock x Reader - Chapter FifteenThe second and the third day passed after (Y/N)'s kidnapping. Life at Baker Street seemed to calm down a little.
No mysterious text messages, no kidnappings and no Mycroft stealing John away every chance he got which irritated Sherlock slightly.
"I know it was you that beat Oliver up." (Y/N) said, flicking through the pages of her book with ease. She had been reading The Scent of Death by Andrew Taylor for the past hour or so he had presumed.
It was a historical crime-fiction novel that had been sitting on her bookshelf for a while and she had never gotten around to reading it until now. All she had to say was that it was interesting and very historically accurate so far.
Sherlock smirked and sniggered. His hands were closed together in a sort of praying action, although everyone knew he wasn't praying unless you were completely unobservant.
"I only did what I had to, it's my-"
"It's not your duty to protect me Sherlock. And stop claiming that it's your duty, you're not some form of so
Sherlock Holmes X Reader:Devil's Play (Ch.65)"Moriarty must still be in the police department," you said as you, Sherlock, and Watson climbed up the stairs from the basement.
Watson had cheerfully knocked the handcuffed Justin Bray out with a well-placed blow to the temple with the butt of his own gun, and now the three of you were hunting for Moriarty.
"Why would he, when he can escape and avoid any other threats to his freedom and life?' Watson argued.
"Because his hunt isn't over!" You snapped. Feeling immediately bad when you saw Watson's surprised expression, you said, "Sorry. But it isn't. You and Sherlock have both told me that he followed Sherlock from Britain. Why would he do that, if Sherlock isn't dead or gone for good? He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't abandon a hunt just because it got too dangerous."
Sherlock and Watson both turned to stare at you, climbing the stairs behind them.
"What?" you asked irritably.
"It's scary how reasonable you sound right now," Watson confessed.
You sighed, but didn't say anything, just
Older Peter Pan X Older Reader: Part 16You were back in the tree house again slumped haphazardly on your back atop one of the empty beds in the hallowed out room. You were feeling a little giddy from your trip to Mermaid Lagoon and you couldn't stop the rush of excitement from your little victory. You had killed two birds with one stone having been able to help Peter and the boys in some small way and also at having exacted a small bit of revenge on the mermaids. It wasn't exactly the kind of vengeance you were hoping for, but for now you had bigger fish to fry. Feeling restless you got up to pace the floor for what felt like the hundredth time. You were pretty sure the mermaids were now well on their way to finding The Tick Tock Croc. It galled you a little that they were able to move freely while you were stuck here waiting. You couldn't help feeling like you were caught in the eye of a storm. A storm that had been brewing before you ever came to this land and now you were stuck in the lull with nothing to do other than t
Older Peter Pan X Older Reader: Part 14All eyes in the room were now focused on you and you could feel the weight of all the hope behind them. You swallowed hard; your throat feeling like sandpaper all of a sudden. You did have a plan, but you weren't sure it was even possible. Still you had to try. Taking a deep inhale you pushed your doubts aside and became serious. "It is my understanding that The Picanniny Tribe have lots of canoes for fishing expeditions right?" you asked the circle of boys. They all nodded in confused unison. "Right, well then it stands to reason that since the tribe cannot fly then they should know how to navigate stealthily through these waters. If Hook's ship has been sailing these waters for years then The Picanniny have had to of found a way to sneak past it to be able to go into water deep enough to catch the big fish. If The Picanniny Tribe does have a way to sneak past their ship then doesn't it stand to reason that they could somehow sneak you guys on to Skull Rock somehow? If they can
Older Peter Pan X Older Reader: Part 12You watched in silence as Tootles tended to the tiny campfire. His slim frame was bent over the crackling embers as his hands fanned the flames higher. The flames danced and grew under his skilled and practiced movements. The fire below him cast a warm orange glow all over the planes of his smooth pale skin. Your heart instantly began to ache for him. A boy his age should be in high school living with his parents and flirting with girls. He shouldn’t be starting fires, hunting for food, mourning murdered Indian Chiefs, or warring with deranged pirates. A boy his age’s only concerns should be homework or what he’s going to do on a Saturday night not where his next meal is going to come from or when he or his brothers will be attacked next. This was no life for a young teenage boy, especially one as gentle as Tootles.
Your mind brought you back to the first time you had seen him. He had shot you out of the sky nearly killing you if it hadn’t been for Peter.
A bet for love [Rivaille/Levi x Reader]'Lets break up...'
These words kept repeating in your mind. Couldn't believe that your childhood friend/ex boyfriend broke up with you the day you were assigned to be in the Survey Corp.
You kept rolling the pen on the table with tears at the corners of your eyes.
"If I just stayed at the palace and didn't accept the work here, this wouldn't have happen..." You murmured to yourself. " oh.... My love..."
Then someone used a folder to hit your head hard, you quickly looked up and wanted to yell at that person who hit you. But it was the corporal.
"Sir???!!" You panicked and stood up to salute him.
He narrowed his eyes on you and put the folder on your desk.
"Do your work properly. Cadet." He snapped.
You nodded and sat down. As you opened the folder, you realised the corporal was still standing in front of your desk. You froze and didn't move because you felt the gaze of the corporal on you.
"If you think you refused the job here and the man you love would stay with you, you are wrong."
To Binge (Jack Frost X Reader)"Oh my God, there's not one one-shot on here, is there..." You muttered to yourself as you casually scrolled through the several reader inserts on the DeviantArt group you were currently peeking into, expecting to see at least one little one-shot, but alas, the planets were not int position that day. Or any other day, it seemed, since this is the fourth time you've checked this group— which was a Jack Frost group, naturally. You weren't ashamed, Jack Frost was one fine price of animation, with those big, blue eyes and pale complexion, not to mention the way he always had fun. The multiple fanart and fanfiction made him out to be the perfect boy alive (or dead, technically, but lets not go into those upsetting details). Reading these Jack Frost reader inserts were your guilty pleasure, that is if they weren't multi-chapters all the time. You haven't seen that many one-shots, which were easier to read and sometimes cuter than the long, complex stories of the multi-chaptered ones. B
